☹everyone's too stupid☹

Hey guys! I'm back again. It seemed as soon as I told myself I didn't have to fashion blog as much I had the urge to do it more, haha. This outfit deeeeefinitely reminds me of something Enid Coleslaw would wear and I love it. I hope y'alls' weekend goes well!

☄beat it, creep ☄

Hey everyone! I know I said I was going to veer away from using this as aggressively and frequently, but I just couldn't help myself. This new skirt I got has some serious Traci Lords in "Cry Baby" and pin up vibes going on; I love it. Anyways, I wore this outfit (before) going bowling with my boyfriend for the first time since I was like 10. Do any of you guys have a thing for bowling? Hope y'alls MLK day goes well!

♥and she was♥

Hey everyone! Hope the first week of 2013 has gone well for everyone. Things have been going pretty good lately. My hair has been growing like crazy and I've cut out some toxic people from my life, both of which were long awaited. Anyways, I got this dress ages ago and I'm surprised it hasn't wound up in an outfit post yet! I can't help but think of the Talking Heads every time I wear it.

☢rows and rows of bones☢

Hello again! Hasn't been too long since my last post, so hopefully I can keep up at this pace. As I mentioned before, I had my wisdom teeth taken out last week so my cheeks are still a bit swollen. I have this bizarre lump on my jaw from surgery so they put me on a round of antibiotics thinking it could be infection, but honestly I wouldn't be surprised if they left gauze or something in there given how big n hard the lump is! Anyways, I hope y'all had a wonderful New Year, mine was just so so.

☼x-mas eve☼

Hello again! This is what I wore to Christmas Eve dinner. Ever since I've seen Silver Linings: Playbook with Jennifer Lawrence I've been channeling her style. Her wardrobe is filled with lace, velvet, plenty of layers, and dark, simple colors which is perfect for winter. I'm even in love with her hair color, and have debated dyeing it that dark, chocolately brown for a few months.

And now onto my outfit!

I apologize for posting this days late btw! I actually had surgery the day after Christmas and my cheeks are in full blown chipmunk mode and I'm doped up on hydrocodone. Drooling all over myself and not being able to chew these past few days have not been fun. Anyways, I've attached a scene of Silver Linings below which might be the most relatable movie scene I've ever seen. What did y'all wear for your holiday festivities?

♛i'm still alive!♛

Hello again! It has literally been over a month since my last outfit post. My goal was to do at least 2 a week and I have been slackinnnnnnnng like crazy. I don't even have a good excuse other than I've just been too damn lazy! I recently redyed my hair, and this time it turned out a deeper, redder color and I actually love it a lot. I hope the photos do it justice!

☠10,000 years B.C.☠

Hey y'all! I have been doing some serious slacking when it comes to posting on here. This time, I don't even have a legitimate reason either. I've just been too lazy to get my camera and my tripod out!
So last night I tried redying my hair my signature magenty-red color, and it turned out pink! I used a dye I've never tried before, but I think I'm goona like it. The color itself is a lot lighter than the color I'm used to which makes my features look a bit darker, but I don't mind.
And last but not least, I have been sick as hell this week. I don't know when the last time was I had a cold this bad. By the end of the day my foundation is virtually GONE from wiping my face w tissues so much. None of the OTC stuff seems to be working either. :(

✄girl, you'll be a woman soon✄

Alas! I have finally done a proper post on my Haloween costume for this year! I'm going as Mia Wallace, from the movie Pulp Fiction. If you haven't seen it yet, you should most definitely check it out. The costume was simple enough, just black leggings and a white collared shirt. I wore my costume to school and had tons of people asking me if I needed a tissue and why I dyed my hair. I plan on trick or treating tonight then watching movies with my friends. What do you guys plan on doing?

♛i'm not the world's most masculine man♛

Two posts in one week! I must be on a roll or something. I've discovered it's much easier and less time consuming to take the photos myself with a tripod than to have someone else who is clueless with cameras do it (i.e. all of my friends). I'm hoping to pick up the pace a bit with 2 or 3 posts a week, on all sorts of things, not just my outfits.
More importantly though, it is officially fall (as you can tell by the background in my photos)! I live in Missouri where the weather is notoriously unpredictable, however the past two weeks or so have been cool in the 50s and 60s, which is just perfect. I'm taking advantage of these fall days the most I can!

So, over the summer I fell madly in love with The Kinks after snagging a record of theirs for $5. After looking them up on YouTube, I discovered a cover of their song "Lola" by The Raincoats. Needless to say, it's been on repeat for days.

PS - Sorry for the horrible editing on these photos! I accidentally overexposed them all when taking them.
